Pops Concert & Fireworks Spectacular. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. Annual event featuring the Greensboro Concert Band playing patriotic music amid a huge fireworks display. Jamieson Stadium at Grimsley High School, 801 Westover Terrace.

 

July 4

Fun Fourth Festival. 9 a.m.–6 p.m. With food, crafts, and seven stages of live music, the Fun Fourth Festival is simply the biggest celebration in town. Free. 336-274-4595. Downtown Greensboro.
