This year marks the 227th anniversary of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse, which took place March 15, 1781. Events for the March 15–16 observance weekend will be held at the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park, Tannenbaum Historic Park, and Price Park. Highlights include performances by the Guilford Courthouse Fifes & Drums and Carolina Colonial Dancers, an assortment >of demonstrations, a guided battlefi eld walk, and muchanticipated battle re-enactments.
