Recalling fond memories of a childhood spent outdoors, Maxie B’s owner Robin Davis says her favorite book is Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv. “It is about the importance of nature in the presence of our lives, in particular for children,” Davis says. “As a Mom, I tuned in to this immediately. We, as adults in this very different world, have a deep responsibility to realize the importance of nature and wilderness for children and to make that available.”
