A visit to the North Carolina Zoological Park in Asheboro gives you a chance to “get wild with the animals,” says Chef Ronnie Stevens of High Point’s Crush 1345. It’s a great outing, it’s good clean fun, and it offers the chance to support a local institution. If you haven’t been in a while, check out the new Watani Grasslands Reserve, the expansion of the Zoo’s elephant and rhinoceros exhibits.
